Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Communications Specialist will include:

• Job Title: Communications Specialist III
• Location: One John Deere Place Moline, IL
• Pay Rate: $35-40/HR, based on experience
• Length: 12-month contract *eligible to extend
• Schedule: Hybrid work schedule: 4 days onsite/ 1 day remote each week. Fully remote candidates are not eligible for this role.
• We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our employee communications team in the role of Communications Specialist. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Communications Lead in the management, coordination, and execution of a multitude of communications projects. You will help ensure the quality and consistency of our communications efforts, and provide limited creative support, inclusive of story/article writing and proofing. • Communications project management; stakeholder engagement - this the main focus of this position. 60% of their time will be focused on communications project management.
• Writing; simple templated design support
• Quality assurance - proofing, fact-checking; stakeholder approvals
• Supporting local photo and video shoots
• Organizing shared digital creative assets
• Coordinate metrics scorecard assembly
• Keep team SharePoint sites organized and updated
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Great verbal and written communication skills required
• Project management and organizational experience and skills required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Marketing Communications or Communications experience preferred
• A degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business is required
