CNC Machinist

Job Responsibilities
- Compensation (Range): $26-28/hr
- As the CNC Programmer/ Machinist you will be responsible for taking jobs from 3D model or blueprints and produce finished parts.
- Programing, setup tooling, basic inspection and finishing of the parts
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications
- Program mills, utilizing manual G-Code Programming and CAM systems
- Maintains part specifications by adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements specified by the manufacturer's instructions.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the team
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years machining experience necessary or equivalent
- Significant CAM software experience preferably with Master cam
- Sufficient 3D surfacing skills
- Tooling speeds and feeds selection responsibility
- Manual Mill and Lathe Experience
- 4 axis CNC Programming and operation
- Utilization of GD&T standards
- Interpersonal skills required to work with others from various disciplines and cultures.
- Strong organizational skills to communicate technical data to colleagues and leadership
- Must be willing and able to work days and afternoon shifts as required to meet demands
- Strong level of analytical thinking
- The successful candidate will have to successfully pass a driver's abstract and background check including drug screen
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience operating and programming 4/5 axis CNC machines
- Experience with both horizontal and vertical CNC machines
- Familiar with UG and TeamCenter
- CNC lathe programming and operation experience a plus
- Fanuc, Haas, Hurco, Fadal, Makino and Siemens controller experience
- Understanding of the constantly evolving racing environment
