Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Project Manager will include:

• Compensation (Range): $60-62 / hour: Salary
• Will support the large, complex Basin Closure and Demo projects at WS Lee and at other sites in the Carolinas West region on an as-needed basis to achieve the project objectives.
• Specific responsibilities will include contractor management, plan and readiness review development, cost forecasting, schedule review and update, risk management, procurement practices and invoice review, quality, and safety and environmental compliance.
• PM-1 will lead meetings (Plan of Day, Contractor Updates, etc), prepare (or support preparation) of periodic reports, and work in an integrated team to address issues, evaluate options, and lead implementation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a two-year college or university.
• Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated track record of successful outcomes.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university. Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License. Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls. Experience in utility industry and large civil (including CCR) or mechanical projects. Knowledge in construction management.
