Job Responsibilities

• Compensation (Range): $44-$46/ hour:
• (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Functional ECUs and Smart Security. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security.
• Vehicle application of Functional ECUs (power slide door ECU, power tailgate ECU, Seat ECU, Window ECU, Sunroof ECU, etc.) and Smart Security (Smart ECU, Immobi, antennas, etc.)
• Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications
  

Job Requirements

• This position will be working a hybrid schedule (T/W/TH working onsite)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
• 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
• Must be able to work up to 30% Overtime
• Experience in vehicle electronics development
• Experience in CATIA
